The shift is normally done when one is no longer able to endure another season of having to deal with string lights. You rise, and lay them up, and stand off and keep part of it where it is, and again a month later you do so, but in the opposite direction. It gets old fast. Permanent LED lights are completely devoid of that cycle. They are stationary and more so, they appear to have a purpose.

The first thing that I was not expecting was their frequency of use. Not only in December or feasts, but on usual evenings. The roofline is light white that alters the color of the entire house. It feels calmer. Slightly warmer. Difficult to speak till you can see with your own eyes.

Much would have to do with control here. The majority of the systems can be accessed with the help of an app, and initially it seems corny. You can keep a schedule, switch colors or dim without moving out of the couch. There are some nights when you simply have it. It is bright on other nights, I suppose. It is based on what you feel and that is where the flexibility occurs.

Thin are Classy and ostensatous. It is too much in terms of color and then suddenly you have made your house a contest to be observed. A eclectic blend of a carefully selected palette will be donned. The installers of such systems will probably have that set in place within a week or two of trial and error.

The quality of installation is more crucial than the lights. You will need to see it with your eyes, unless the lines are straight, or the distance between them is comfortable. The building has a clean install, which is hardly noticeable, except that you know where to locate it. It is what makes the night effect appear natural, rather than artificial.

Another factor that is not put into consideration is weather. The weather exposes the outside lights to heat, rain, dust-all within a week. A quality system regulates that there is no stuttering or dying off too soon. Low cost systems may prove to be cost effective in the short run but they will be easily worn out.

Then there is the minor neighborhood effect. It may not be obvious at first but people are traveling at a slower pace. Nothing dramatic. A glimpse, a glimpse, an hour-eye. Light is good, and it has that dumb allure.

The LED lights will no longer be a characteristic but a habit overtime. You would like them to be there. You utilize them unknowingly. Even an average evening, somehow, is a part of that holiday atmosphere,–but not with the aggravation which otherwise it would receive.
